What is it?
Nine 10-minute exercise segments that target different body parts, any of which can be mixed and matched to create a half-hour workout. Who is it for? Time challenged exercisers - beginners or intermediates - who want a variety of quick, effective routines. You will need a pair of 3 to 8 pound dumbbells, a chair and a mat. What to expect: This exercise program makes great use of the DVD format by offering a selection of routines that can be mixed and matched. The instructors - Minna Lessig, Nancy Popp and Julie Upton - each take charge of three 10-minute segments. Upton works the abs, Popp focuses on buns and Lessig targets the arms and legs. The viewer can choose up to three segments to create a customized, half-hour workout. Feel like doing all abs? Fine. Want an overall body routine? Choose ten minutes each of buns, abs and the arm/ legs segment. Really pressed for time? Then just choose one or two of the 10-minute segments. On top of its versatility, the DVD features professional but friendly instruction. Because of her appearances on CBS's The Early Show, Lessig is probably the most well-known, but all three women give crystal clear directions and offer safety tips that will be very helpful, especially for beginners. This DVD will keep new exercisers interested and challenged for quite a long time. Those with a bit more experience might like it too, as a change from their usual routines.
